Humida is the product of KAAN’s many years of experience, an established name in the professional laundry sector.   • 1986

    • The company was founded by Karl Neulichedl in Blumau, South Tyrol.
    • Production of the first drying ironing machines (3 machines per year).

  • 1987

    • Daughter Karin Neulichedl joins the company.
    • Start of in-house production and establishment of international business relations.

  • 1990

    • Annual production increases to 150 machines.

  • 1993

    • Completion of the 500th ironing machine.

  • 1999

    • Inauguration of the new company headquarters with modern production hall and administrative offices in Blumau.

  • 2006

    • Worldwide export of drying ironing machines.
    • Production of over 1,500 drying ironing machines.

  • 2010

    • Registration of the trademark “KAAN”.

  • 2014

    • Completion of the 2,500th drying ironing machine.

    • Niederbacher and Cleantec each hold a 40% stake in Kaan
